Chemical company benefits from the Bubble formula

This big player in the chemical market were converting existing hardware and an existing process to perform a new task.

The existing DCS ( Distributed Control System ) was to remain and a small Allen Bradley PLC was to be integrated to perform the new tasks.

The process which was to produce polymers for the adhesive market required a dual pump control and temperature monitoring program.

  
  This was required to ensure that the chemical mix which effectively converted many monomers into a single
polymer did not solidify within the pipework during the process. It was also important to make sure that
none of the product remained within the pipework once the process had completed.
